Bihar NMMS Scholarship 2022 Qualification (Qualification)
- Applicant should be resident of Bihar
- In the applicant academic session 2019-20, only state/government/state government/government grant-run schools of the state (except Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik School, Kendriya Vidyalaya and residential schools and private schools run by the Central / State Government) / Passed class VIII examination with 55 percent (fifty five percent) marks while studying in recognized aided minority schools / madrassa and Sanskrit schools and duly enrolled in class VIII in any of the above mentioned schools in the current academic session 2021-22 Students who are studying can apply.
- SC / ST and disabled students will also be given 5% relaxation.
- In the light of the epidemic arising out of Covid-19, all those students who have been promoted from class VII to VIII in the session 2021 22. That too all the students can apply for this scholarship whose total annual income from all sources of parents does not exceed 1.5 lakh (1.5 lakh)

Important Conditions Regarding Starting & Continuing Of NMMS Scholarship
- For receiving the scholarship the awardees should get clear promotion from class 8 to class 9th
- The scholarship is payable at the secondary and higher secondary stage or equivalent classes of 9th to 12th for a maximum period of four years
- Students can avail this scholarship for studies in India only
- For getting this scholarship in class 10th and 12 the awardees are required to get clear promotion in class 9th to 10th and from class 11th to 12th in first attempt with at least 55% marks
- Relaxation will be provided in SC and ST categories
- The relaxation will be of 5%
- This scheme will be reviewed after three years
- The department will monitor the scheme at regular intervals with concerned stakeholder
- For effective implementation and monitoring of this scheme a technical support group will be constituted
- If any school or educational institution does not conduct an examination at the end of class 9th or 12th the scholarship for 2nd year will be continued on the submission of certificate to this effect from the head of the institution or school
- For continuation of this scholarship the awardee is required to obtain at least 60% marks in class 10th
