Selection Process

Applicants will be selected by a written exam with objective questions. It will consist of 50 questions: 20 on mathematics, 20 on general sciences, and 20 on general knowledge, each question carrying a point and a half.

The exam will take place on January 27 and the results will be released on January 29.

Candidates who have passed the written test will be invited to sit interviews in the different categories and reserve professions. The interview will be based on the technical skills of the candidates in their respective fields.

The interview process will take place between January 31 and February 3. Candidates selected for the interview will have to undergo a medical examination which will take place from February 7 to 15.

Physical Fitness Test Details

The Indian Navy Fitness Test consists of

(1) 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, you must travel 1,600 meters in 7 minutes to qualify for the position in the Indian Navy.

(2) 20 squats (Uthak bethak) are required to qualify for this exam.

(3) 10 push-ups, candidates must perform 10 push-ups to qualify

Candidates must pass the OMR computer-based written exam prior to this physical fitness test.

If you are qualified for both the written and physical test, you must pass the medical test, in this test all parts of your body must check your medical fitness.
