NIOS has officially released the results for Classes 10 and 12 in July 2023. The results will be accessible to students on the official result portal at results.nios.ac.in. Students who took the Second and Senior Secondary exams from 06 April to 08 May 2023 should be aware that the results are expected to be announced by the second week of June 2023. The NIOS: National Institute of Open Schooling has conducted the 10th and 12th-grade exams for the 2022-23 academic year through offline mode. Although the result declaration date is yet to be confirmed, the evaluation process is expected to conclude by the first week of June 2023, with results being declared by the second week of June 2023. It is worth noting that results for both classes will be announced concurrently regardless of the exam taken.

NIOS 2023 Result: How to check via official website or SMS?
The following instructions will guide you through the process of checking the 10th and 12th class NIOS Exam result.
Online via the official website
- Visit the official results portal of the National Institute of Open Schooling at results.nios.ac.in.
- You will be redirected to another webpage once you select the option of Secondary / Senior Secondary April 2023 Result.
- In order to check the results, you must provide your Enrollment Number, fill in the information, and click on the Submit button.
Messages sent via SMS
- You can open Message by clicking on the icon.
- SMS should be sent as NIOS10 <roll_number> or NIOS12 <roll_number>.
- You can send it to 5676750.
Students who have sat for the exam or have applied for the exam, they can check their 10th and 12th exams must subscribe to push notifications to be notified when their results are officially announced on the results portal at results.nios.ac.in/.

The National Institute of Open Schooling recently released the passing criteria for Class 10 and 12 exams. To secure a passing grade, each student must obtain a minimum of 33% marks in every subject. Those who fail in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to appear in a supplementary exam. A student who fails three subjects, however, will either have to participate in the compartmental exam or have to repeat the same class if he or she fails three subjects.

The official release of the 10th and 12th results will include the mark sheet, while the online result will only provide immediate information. However, students should be aware that they will receive their original marksheet a few days after the online result is declared. It’s worth noting that if the official result is made public by the second week of June 2023, all students will receive their original marksheet and provisional passing certificate through their respective schools.
