Odisha TGT Recruitment 2022: Age Limit 

The age limit for OAVS Recruitment 2022 for all posts is given below.

A candidate must have attained 21 years of age and must not be above 32 years of age as of 01.01.2021.

Provided that relaxation in upper age limit shall be allowed to candidates of different social/special categories in the following manner:

i) in case of SC/ST/SEBC/Women by 5 years

il) in case of Persons with Disabilities by 10 years

Other Requirements

1. You must have passed MIL Odia up to ME standard.
2. The candidates who have not passed Odia up to M.E Standard can apply, but they have to pass the examination (Odia upto M.E Standard) conducted by BSE, Odisha, Cuttack within three years from the date of joining.
3. Knowledge of Computer Application is desirable.
4. Proficiency in teaching both in Odia and English medium is required.
5. You must be of sound mind.

The Exam Pattern for OAVS Recruitment 2022 for Principal has been given below.

1. The Online Question Paper will be bilingual (i.e., English & Odia Languages Only).
2. All the questions will be multiple choice objective questions.
3. The OAVS Online Test will be of 180 Marks comprising 180 questions.
4. The candidate is required to mark only one answer out of four options. 
5. There will be 0.25 marks negative marking for each wrong answer.

OAVS Exam Pattern for PGT, TGT, PET, and Computer Teacher

• The online test will consist of Part-I, II, and III.
• The online test will be conducted in English and Odia only.
• All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions. 
• The test will be of 200 marks for a total duration of 3 Hours 20 Minutes.
• Each question will carry 1 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Final Selection Process For OAVS Teacher 2022

The final selection criteria is different for each of the posts. The final selection criteria for each of the posts is mentioned below:

• For TGT: The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70 % (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.
• For PGT: The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70%(Parts II,III), and Interview 30%
• For Physical Education Teacher (PET): The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70% (Parts-II & III) and Interview 30%
• For Computer Teacher: A performance test of 20 marks will be conducted separately. The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 50% (Parts II & III), Performance Test 20% and Interview 30%. 

OAVS Teacher Interview 

Once you have secured the qualifying marks in the OAVS 2022 Written Test you will be called to appear for the Interview. The Interview marks is different for each of the OAVS Posts as mentioned below:
