Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2021 – The West Bengal government provides various projects and scholarships to help poor students financially. There are some educational scholarships through which financial aid is given to students from poor families for higher education. There are several scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students in West Bengal besides secondary or higher secondary. One of them is the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship which is also known as Bikash Bhavan Scholarship.

Students enrolled in various courses starting from higher secondary get some money annually through this scholarship. Depending on the course, monthly payments range from Rs.1000 to Rs.5000. Below is a discussion of how much money can be earned for admission to a course –

Those who have passed the secondary school this year and have been admitted in the higher secondary course i.e. class XI will be given Rs. 12,000 per annum i.e. Rs.

Among those who are thinking of studying for a bachelor’s degree after passing the Higher Secondary, the students of Arts and Commerce Department will get Rs.1000 per month and the students enrolled in Science and any professional course will get Rs.1500 per month. Besides, if you are admitted in Engineering, you will be paid Rs. 5000 per month, if you are admitted in Polytechnic course, you will be paid Rs.

Those who are thinking of graduating after graduation can also apply for this scholarship. In this case, students of the Commerce and Arts Department will get 2000 rupees per month and students of Science and any professional course will get 2500 rupees per month.

Students of Non-Net MPhil, Non-Net Ph.D., Net L-S P-H-D degree will get Rs. 5000

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Criteria (Who will get it?)

There are some things you need to know to apply for this scholarship. If you are eligible for some of the criteria kept by the government, you can apply for this scholarship. Eligibility to apply for the scholarship is discussed below-

Firstly, if the applicant is admitted to the graduation course after passing the secondary or higher secondary, then in both cases a minimum of 60% marks should be obtained. Besides, even if you are admitted in medical, engineering, polytechnic, etc., it is compulsory to get 80% marks in higher secondary. Those who are thinking of applying after graduation will have to get 53% marks in graduation or those who are taking advantage of the Kanyashree project will be able to apply after getting 45% marks. 

Family Income – In addition to the above criteria, there are other Criteria. Since this scholarship is to help poor students, students with a family income of less than বছরে 250,000 per year will be able to apply. If the family income of a student is more than 250,000 then that student is not eligible for this scholarship. But.

This criterion is not applicable for those who are availing the benefits of the Kanyashree Project, besides those who are being admitted in Non-Net MPhil, Non-Net Ph.D., Net L. S. P. Ph.D. In this case, even if the family income is more than 250,000, it will be considered eligible for the scholarship.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Documents (की की लागबे)

At the time of application, the applicant has to upload some important documents. Find out what documents need to be uploaded.

For New Applicants –

• Secondary result
• Result of the last degree (i.e. the result of the higher secondary if applied after passing the higher secondary, the result of graduation if applied after passing the graduation)
• Proof of course that the applicant has been admitted.
• Family Income Certificate
• Aadhaar card / voter card / ration card as proof of address. 
• Scans the first page of the bank’s PASS book. 
• Evidence of not applying for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship in the previous year. (For those who have passed 2020)

For those who are renewing this scholarship –

• The last result is a scan of both sides.
• Proof of admission next year.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Application Process

It is important to know how to apply before applying. Below is the application procedure for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

Step 1 – Open the Home page of the Banglar Uchchashiksha website and click on the ‘SVMCM Scholarship’ option. After clicking on the new page, click on the ‘Registration’ option.

Step 2 – After clicking on the ‘Registration’ option there will be two options at the end of the new page ‘Proceed for Registration’ ‘Download User Manual’. Registration can be started by clicking on the Proceed for Registration option. Just above it before registration begins ‘This is to declare that I have read the instructions properly and I agree to abide by them.’ Click on the small box to the left of the text.

Step 3 – After clicking on Proceed for Registration, the new page that will open will have a total of 6 categories. From there, select the option according to the degree of the applicant and click on ‘Apply for Fresh application’.

Step 4 – Step 4: Open a registration form and fill it out. Those who are getting money under Kanyashree project will have the option to fill a separate form, they have to fill it. After filling the entire form, click on the ‘Register’ option.

Step 5 – After clicking on the ‘Register’ option, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the applicant.

Step 6 – After getting ‘Applicant Id’, go back to the first page and click on ‘Applicant Login’. To login you need to give Applicant Id, Password. Under Applicant Id, Password, Security Code will be required, you have to register it and click on ‘Login’.

Step 7 – After logging in, all the information of the applicant can be seen in the Dashboard. From there you can apply for the scholarship by clicking on ‘Edit Profile’ or ‘Edit Application’ option.

Step 8 – In this step, first fill in the Basic Details and then click on the ‘Save & Continue’ option. Here you have to upload the photo and signature of the applicant.

Step 9 – In this step a page of Personal Details will open, you have to fill it and click on Save & Continue option. At this stage the bank account of the applicant will be asked. Applicants under Kanyashree project will have to give details of Kanyashree project separately.

Step 10 – Upload the above documents in this step. After uploading the documents, click on ‘Submit Application’. The applicant is asked to look at the file format and file size.

Step 11 – After completing the application, you will be given the opportunity to download the application in this step. It has been instructed to download. And finally clicking on the ‘Submit Application’ option will complete the application process.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship last date

The last day of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship has not been announced yet but like every year the application for this scholarship can be made till the month of February. In other words, it is assumed that the application can be made from November 2021 to February 2022.
