UPPSC Prelims 2021 : The first phase of Uttar Pradesh Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (Preliminary) -2021, also known as the UPPSC PCS 2021 test is conducted with two shifts at various testing centers across the country on Sunday (October 24). Tests are conducted in two shifts – from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- The UPPSC Prelims 2021 Exam is conducted Offline.
- The Prelims Exam is divided into two papers.
- Paper 1 shall be of 200 marks.
- Paper 2 shall be considered as a qualifying paper.
- There shall be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Paper 1 Carried 150 questions while paper 2 only 100.
- Questions asked in the paper are of MCQ type.

In view of COVID-19 practices, hot tests and sanitation should be mandatory, and candidates have been asked to come to the testing center before the reporting period to avoid last-minute chases.
At least 1,505 institutions in 31 state districts have been tested by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). All the centers were expected to have only 500 people and each of these people had been sitting in a way that the principles of COVID-19 social distancing were strictly adhered to, officials said.
In addition to the presentations of UP PCS, the first phase of the forest conservationist’s assistant, forest officials’ examinations are also underway today. According to official data, a total of 6,91,173 people applied for 538 PCS vacancies and 16 ACF / RFO posts. Earlier due to be held in June, these tests were postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19.
It is mandatory to carry the UPPSC PCS consent card along with valid ID proof. The gates of the UPPSC PCS test center were closed 15 minutes after the start of the test.
Those who arrived after the gates were closed were not allowed to enter the exam hall. Also, those registered who did not wear masks were not allowed to appear in the trial.

UPPSC will release the result of the PCS exam on its official website uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates who qualify in the UPPSC PCS exam will be eligible to appear in the mains exam. The UPPSC PCS mains exam is scheduled to be held on January 28, 2021. The UPPSC PCS mains exam will be conducted in essay based descriptive mode.
The mains exam of UPPSC PCS will be conducted for 8 papers, out of which 4 will be general studies, 2 will be optional papers while one each will be general Hindi and Essay.
