WBCS Result 2021 is expected to be Out Soon. The West Bengal Public Service Commission will announce the WBPSC WBCS Result 2021 [prelims] on its official website i.e. wbpsc.gov.in. According to reports, over 2.5 lakh candidates applied for the WBCS Preliminary Exam 2021. However, 1.8 lakh candidates appeared in the WBCS prelims exam 2021 on August 22. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary exam must start preparing themselves for the WBCS mains exam 2021.

Candidates, who had appeared for the exam are advised to keep track on the official website. WBPSC WBCS Result 2021 will be declared anytime soon.

The WBCS preliminary exam is a one-paper examination based on General Studies. The examination carried 200 questions and the time given to candidates was 2.5 hours to solve the question paper.

The WBCS Preliminary Examination 2021 has been conducted successfully by the Commission of Union Public in West Bengal. The candidates who score qualifying marks in the prelims will participate in the main examination and then further phases of the recruitment.

Written Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz.,

• (i) Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and
• (ii) Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type).

A number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Main Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.

WBCS Prelims Cut Off Score

A cut-off score is the basic qualifying criteria determined by the commission of West Bengal PSC. Competitors obtaining that particular number of marks get chosen for the next stage of the recruitment or the examination.
