How to Challenge WBJEE 2022 Answer Key?

Candidates with any objection in the provisional answer key released by WBJEEB can challenge the answers in a specified format till 19 Feb 2022. For this, candidates have to provide the supporting documents for their challenge of answers. The board will take action regarding the raised objections and will release the final answer key. Steps involved in raising objections against WBJEE answer key 2022 are given below:

Open WBJEE 2022 official portal.
Click on the answer key tab
Login with your application number and password
The answer key will be displayed on the screen
Select the challenge answers tab from the screen
Select the questions to be challenged
Candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 per response (which is non-refundable).
Upload the supporting documents.
Submit the objection.

Calculation Of Score Using Answer Key

Given below is the section-wise distribution of the Questions along with the different categories in which they are divided:

The overall score depends on the number of correct answers and wrong answers also as there is negative marking in WBJEE Exam:

Category 1	+1	-1/4
Category 2	+2	-1/2
Category 3	+2	– For partially correct response, 2 x (no. of correct answer marked)/(total no. of the correct answer) – 0 marks for the combination of both correct and incorrect responses

Candidates can calculate their overall expected score by using a simple formula which is given below:

Total Score= Total marks secured incorrect Questions – Total marks deducted in incorrect Questions.

WBJEE 2022 Result

The West Bengal joint entrance examination board will release WBJEE 2022 result on the official website wbjee.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check the WBJEE results in 2022 using their application number and password. WBJEE result 2022 will include the details of the subject-wise scores, total scores, and ranks secured by the candidates in the exam.
